Olaf Heine's career in photography began while he was studying architecture in Hannover/Germany. Some friends persuaded him to photograph their record sleeve. The album launched Terry Hoax, one of the most popular German groups of its time, and sparked a new obsession for Heine, who moved to Berlin to study photography at the prestigious Lette Verein Berlin. While enrolled, he continued his artistic collaborations with musicians. He has gone on to shoot editorials and album packages featuring celebrities from the world of music, film and sports.
The celebrity- and advertising photographer Olaf Heine shows his new powerful athletic side and rarely seen pictures – a strong portfolio full of unpublished work with a straight, luscious and colourful picture language, at first hand, wonderful reduced.
